Rooted in Art,
Strategic by Design
Hi! I’m Katie. I bring a fine art foundation and large-scale visual merchandising experience to modern brand, marketing, and social media strategy.
I’m a designer and marketer whose work is grounded in formal fine art training and shaped by years of experience in visual merchandising, branding, and marketing. I studied at Lehigh University, where I double majored in Fine Art and Design Art, with a focus on painting, graphic design, and product design, and minored in business. That combination continues to influence how I think about creativity, structure, and how design supports real business goals.
My career began in visual merchandising with Macy's, where I worked across multiple regions including Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida, and New York. Over time, I held positions in Staten Island and Queens before ultimately stepping into my role at the Macy’s Herald Square flagship in Manhattan, New York City. There, I served as Senior Visual Executive for women’s fashion, center core, and shoes, working within one of the most complex and high-visibility retail environments in the country. That experience sharpened my understanding of how visual decisions guide attention, shape experience, and perform at scale.
Today, I focus on marketing and social media strategy for real estate professionals and local businesses. At William Raveis Real Estate, my role has expanded through successive promotions and I was recognized as Marketer of the Year in 2023. My approach blends strong visual instincts with practical strategy, emphasizing clarity, consistency, and thoughtful execution across digital platforms.
I believe the most effective marketing feels intentional and well considered. The goal is never to chase trends, but to create work that reflects the quality of the brand behind it and supports long-term growth.
